Take action to help strengthen the grid for Arkansas children and families.

Across Arkansas, effective programs and practices are in place to improve health and education outcomes for young children. However, many families face barriers to accessing the health, family, education, and community resources they need.

Excel by Eight brings together families, policymakers, providers, and business leaders to strengthen resource grids across the state, ensuring all children have a strong start. We invite you to take action and join the E8 network.

Families

Early childhood education and health systems must be informed and shaped by families with young children. Our Family Advisor Council, made up of parent leaders from across Arkansas, shares lived experiences to drive solution-oriented strategies and ensure every child has a strong start.

Communities

Across Arkansas, Excel by Eight communities are creating solutions to help children thrive. Guided by strategic priorities and local leadership, each one offers a unique example of how partnerships and on-the-ground approaches can strengthen systems while serving as a model for others working to support young children and their families.

Businesses

The Excel by Eight Business Coalition brings together a diverse coalition of businesses, nonprofits, philanthropic organizations, and chambers of commerce from across Arkansas who believe that early childhood education is critical to the recruitment and retention of our state’s current workforce and the development of its future workforce.

Providers

We are always seeking guidance from childcare providers, doulas, and other family practitioners to inform our important work.

Policymakers

Whether providing direct support or through a community-based network of organizations and programs, our local government has a role to play in helping parents access needed services. We need policymakers who are passionate and determined to help Arkansas children have a bright future.
